Paul Evans, Owner and Managing Director
Paul is from a small town in South Wales, living there until he was 18. Paul studied and worked in his teen years to start a career within front of house hospitality, which has continued to be part of his life. Paul moved into the airline industry and became cabin crew for several years, where he caught the travelling bug and loves to experience new and exciting places. Paul then decided to change his career path and joined a leading UK recruitment agency, providing temporary and permanent staffing across the catering, commercial and industrial sectors, and now has his own recruitment and staffing business, CP Staffing and Events.
Interesting Fact
Paul changed his lifestyle 10 years ago when he started his journey in recruitment and now enjoys regular activities including the odd 10K run down the Leeds and Liverpool canal. Paul also participated in the Leeds, Doncaster and Sheffield ‘Run For All’ 10K’s in 2018-19. Paul still loves a good custard cream biscuit (well a packet) with a Yorkshire Brew.

Janet Wilks, Senior Recruiter
Janet moved to Leeds from Essex over 35 years ago but still has the accent! (You can take the girl out of Essex!………). Janet worked for a major airline as cabin crew for 15 years before moving into newspaper advertising as a Sales Manager/Trainer and then into a national utilities company as a Customer Services Manager and Business Coach for over 30 years. Deciding 6 years ago retirement was far too boring an option, Janet took on the new challenge of recruitment and loves it!! She also enjoys a very, very large G&T, preferably a pink one!

Janet gets out to Oz once a year for some Winter sunshine where her favourite places to visit are the wineries!

Jenna Freeman, Senior Account Manager
From all the way up North near the Lake District, I made the move to Sheffield at 18 years old where I graduated at 21 in Food and Nutrition BScHons and went on to travel the globe. From Ski seasons in the French Alps, to teaching in Thailand & New York, to running a cocktail bar on a Greek Island. Some of my top adventures being - exploring the Amazon jungle, climbing Macchu Picchu and road-tripping through the Rockie Mountains!
I have 7 years recruitment experience in high volume commercial recruitment, including: Finance & Accountancy, IT, Senior Management, Retail and Hospitality. I joined the CP Staffing team as a Senior Recruiter in August 2021 and never looked back! I largely look after and manage Compass and the Festival bookings. I’m never happier than when I am busy and surrounded by people – 2022 with CP Staffing looks absolutely set to make that happen and I cannot wait! Fantastic year ahead by all accounts!
